Which Search Engines and AI Assistants Your Hub Reaches

Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow each open a different door. Here is who stands behind each one, and what none of them can promise.

People search in more places than most businesses plan for. A guest asks Google, a colleague asks Copilot, a traveller from Seoul searches Naver, and a privacy-minded planner uses DuckDuckGo. Each of those answers is built from an index, and a small number of indexes feed almost all of them.

RR Daily Authority connects your hub to the three integrations that reach those indexes: Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools and IndexNow. This page maps who sits behind each one, so you know what a connection actually buys you.

Google Search Console: Google Search, AI Overviews and AI Mode

Google’s index serves classic results and the generative features inside Google Search. Search Console now has a separate generative AI report that counts impressions in AI Overviews and AI Mode by page, country, device and date. It does not show clicks or queries for those features yet. Google does not take IndexNow, so Authority tells Google about new pages by resubmitting your sitemap to every connected Search Console property when pages publish.

Bing Webmaster Tools: Bing, Copilot and the engines built on Bing

Bing’s index answers Bing.com and grounds Microsoft Copilot, and it sits underneath other search boxes too. Yahoo results in most markets are powered by Bing, DuckDuckGo says it largely sources its traditional links from Bing, and ChatGPT search draws on third-party search providers alongside OpenAI’s own crawler. Bing Webmaster Tools also reports how often your pages are cited in Copilot and Bing’s AI summaries. Read Bing Webmaster Tools and the engines that read Bing’s index.

    IndexNow: one notification, five engines

IndexNow is a shared protocol. One notice that a page was added, changed or removed reaches Bing, Yandex, Naver, Seznam and Yep together. Authority sends it every time a page publishes and checks the whole hub again once a week, with no account for you to connect. See IndexNow.

    What none of them reach

Some assistants run their own crawlers, and none of these tools report what those assistants do with your pages. That is not a gap another integration can close. Every engine and assistant reads the same public page, so a clear answer to a real question is still the work that matters most. See the AI answers hub.

What a connection does and does not promise

A connection shortens the time between publishing and being found, and it gives you real numbers to plan the next month from. It does not buy a ranking, a citation or a traffic figure. Those are decided by each engine, one question at a time.

A few indexes feed almost every search box and assistant. Connect those, then write pages worth quoting.
